I was just reading Beth Terry's Fake Plastic Fish post this afternoon about her disappointment when California failed to pass the ban on single-use plastic bags yesterday. I feel very strongly that citizens must be part of the solution. Mothers, grandmothers, sisters, brothers, fathers, grandfathers. Imagine them in a line, hands joined, across America.
