Sven & Robert Finch Enjoy Walking in the Fog

Robert Finch likes walking
In the fog at Nauset Beach,
A special feeling.

(The weatherman predicts dense fog over the next few days. Radio essayist Robert Finch lives in Wellfleet and writes about life for Cape and Islands Radio. The other day I heard his essay on walking in the fog and highly recommend it to anyone who loves the Outer Cape.)

What a beautiful photo!
I love love love walking the beach in fog. Growing up in Falmouth I would hear the fog horn as I woke up on those days.
I have most of Robert Finch's books to ponder on homesick days.
Thanks for the radio link!
Thank you for the link. I love the mystery of fog- and also it always brings back memories of wonderful times spent in Frasier's Hill, Malaysia- where the fog would get so thick you could not see your hand in front of you.

fog often reminds me of two -- maybe not so disparate -- places: the northern Gulf coast of the United States and the north east coast of Ireland. nice photo.

We get our share of foggy mornings on the Oregon coast too. I love the eerie quality, which shows up nicely in this photo.

Beautiful photo. Walking in the fog is like walking in a dreamscape. It feels other-worldly.
I listen to that station frequently at work when I'm alone there. I love hearing Robert Finch's Cape Cod Notebook segments, and often go back to re-listen online from home.
