Looks lovely. Thanks for the respite.

There's something wonderful about these wide open spaces in the off-season, about experiencing natural beauty on a very grand scale. It opens minds and hearts and brings some peace.

You are so right. What a great summary of the off-season beach experience, or, for that matter, in-season when one walks away from the crowds. Also, Newcomb this year is especially wide at low tide. Do check it out, Janet.
I visited Newcomb Hollow Sunday. It was lovely! It's been a favorite place since I dropped my son there for a bonfire birthday party in our first years here. It looked like such a good time... I wanted to stay, too. On this visit I had to wait for a flock of turkeys to cross the road as it enters the lot. What odd and beautiful creatures they are!
