Sven Turns 46!

Last night Sven and I celebrated his birthday at Winslow's Tavern, in the company of Tracey Barry Hunt and her husband Phillip. Here Tracey gives Sven a birthday hug. We talked of South African vineyards and politics, world travels, documentary films and much much more. The food, as usual, was delicious. Phillip was very impressed Sven knew so much about an old South African wine called Constance, Napoleon's favorite. Sven told a story about an uncle, who said, "Today we have a lot to celebrate. First, it's your birthday. Second it's Sweden's national day. Third, the Americans have landed in Normandy, and the war is soon over."
