What an absolutely intriguing picture- it produces sooo many questions- what are the shoes doing up there...? How did they get there in the first place..? etc etc. I think you've sparked something in my mind.

Hi Alexandra ~~ Love this photo ... so quirky! I've seen so shoes hanging from wires from time to time, but never red shoes. I share Connie's curiosity. Thanks for making me smile!
:) I think it's a great idea. I'm also thinking of a big picnic at Baker's Field. My mental wheels are turning!

You know, in some neighborhoods, shoes hanging from a wire signals the presence of a drug house.

I did not know that, Living Large. Thanks for sharing this fascinating tidbit. In this case, there is no neighborhood in the off-season. Sven and I go to this beach a lot and I've never seen any drug deals going down. I've seen drivers exchanging something at the marina, and, before the renovation, in the parking lot at Dunkin' Donuts. But neither place boasts shoes on a wire.
