Did the Earth Move in Wellfleet?

This afternoon there was a 5.8 earthquake in Virginia, felt from the Carolinas to Boston. It struck at 1:51. If I had been at the beach, I might have seen sand shifting down the dune, but I was home and felt nothing. Did you feel this rare earthquake?

I live in upstate NY. My husband and I both felt it. My son, asleep (he's a night workers) was woken up - obviously felt it, too. Friends living in NYC felt it also.

We had an increasing number of small quakes here this year until fracking operations were put on hold. Of course, the gas companies insist it wasn't fracking making the earth move, but we all know better.
