Not many cars in the Newcomb Hollow parking lot last week.
Now, we are on our third day of rain, with more drizzle on the way tomorrow. Enough already! There was the threat of rain when the family from Munich came to visit two weeks ago, but the rain held off, fortunately. They say April showers bring May flowers, but hey, it’s May already. This afternoon, the Germans made my day with their email of thanks: “Back in Germany we are still thinking and talking a lot about our wonderful vacations in Wellfleet. We enjoyed very much staying at your beautiful house. You were outstanding hosts, friendly, generous and very inspiring.
Thank you very much for your hospitality…”
