We went by despite the gloomy weather. We did not find much of interest, sorry to say. Maybe if you are interested in boats? Or oysters? Maybe next year there will be more PR and better booths.

Ouch! You are tough on the organizers, amywellfleet. We found lots of interesting booths to explore, but under umbrellas, it was not such fun ...
I don't mean to be tough---just my reaction to the booths. Lots of t-shirts and brochures, but very little in terms of visual interest, art, crafts, etc. We happen not to eat shellfish, so there was no food to eat for us. But I am sure others who are interested in eating shellfish or in learning about the harbor tours and other businesses and agencies would enjoy it. Just not MY thing---doesn't mean I think others would feel the same!
Thanks for posting the photos- it gave me a bit of a feel for what it must have been like. It is always difficult when the weather does not cooperate- but looks like everyone made the most of it!

Again, the climate proves the Wisdom of the Ages: the tourist season in Wellfleet begins in July 4th and ends on Columbus Day.
