New (Old) Shipwreck Visible in Truro!

Above, a photo of the Wellfleet shipwreck, that is once again covered with sand since the beach topography shifted a year or so ago, removing it from view. Shipwreck fans, never fear. Another shipwreck has emerged from the sands of oblivion, in Truro, this time. The Cape Cod Times even offered up a video today. It is not yet clear to me exactly where this earlier shipwreck lies, so we have not yet been up to photograph it. If any of you have more information on the exact location, ie. north of Head of the Meadow Beach, south of Race Point, etc. ie. which direction to walk, please leave a comment. Merci!

oh wow- I love the mystery of this- do you know the story behind this particular ship wreck? Or were there so many in this part of the country that the stories do not stand out.
If you Google Cape Cod Times, you will find it. I could not get the link posted this morning due to technical difficulties. They do know which ship it is, and how many times, in the past, it has become visible. So cool!
How interesting! What fun to come upon something unexpected.
That is so so cool, to see a real shipwreck.
