Sven and I love salvage. As many former guests know, the Wellfleet Transfer Station is Sven's "favorite place." We used to shop at the salvage store in Wareham, before it moved to New Bedford. A year ago our renovation project was just starting. Among the objects we were able to save: floorboards. Here they are, set out on the lawn, before installation. Now, with the green movement, salvage is going big-time, definitely a good thing. This morning NECN Dream House featured a great salvage store in Springfield, MA.
