This amazing apricot tart came from PB Boulangerie Bistro. It reminded me of the excellent pastry we used to enjoy in France. In France, such pastry does not contain GMOs because the EU had the sense to ban them. Here, much harder to say. No doubt the PB chefs would avoid GMOs if that were possible, but GMOs have been slipped into the food system in the United States almost surreptitiously. From my reading, I am realizing what a grave error it was to allow this to happen. Monsanto has just bought Blackwater's clandestine intelligence services (renamed Xe Services). Monsanto is in the process of taking over our food supply. If you don't believe me, begin by watching the documentary Food Inc. We need to oppose GMOs en bloc.
