How Mushrooms Could Help the Local Economy ...

I've been thinking about the Economic Development Committee meeting this afternoon and the many Wellfleetians who are out of work, a fact I learned today from Cathy and Owen MacNutt when I stopped at Box Lunch for a sandwich. If only Wellfleet could develop a green industry, and jobs for locals other than shellfishing and tourism! Then up popped an email from my friend Melanie in NZ. How about mushrooms? Apparently, they are poised to replace styrofoam in packaging.
