I have said it before, and I will say it again, Wellfleet sunsets, in winter, are fantabulous. 
As the sun sinks in the west, the sky fills with the most amazing colors, reflected off the water in the harbor or the flats at low tide. The pier makes a great observation post, but Mayo Beach is nice, too. I took these photos from Mayo Beach, less than a minute apart, because Sven was waiting for me back in the car. Which one do you like best?
